Tabitha is, quite literally, like a bomb ready to go off. She's explosive, frenzied and a bit out of control. Though she's extremely friendly, she's probably not the most personable person in the world, considering that she tends to mouth off and curse a lot.

Tabitha grew up as a very troubled teenager, even though she has always gone to great lengths to keep her personal life before Xavier's to herself. The abuse she endured as a child made her distrustful of adults as a teenager and her time as a runaway convinced her that the only person she would ever be able to completely rely on was herself. However, despite her family history, Tabitha has always had the personality of a self confident, fun-loving, sometimes overly hyper girl, using her extreme personality as a defense mechanism. She comes off as being much more sure of herself and of her control of her surroundings than she actually is.

She can seem, and, in fact, is, rather oblivious to the personal space or personal property of others.

goals: tabby actually wants to make a difference. she wants mutants to stop being kicked around and she’s sick and tired of humans doing the kicking.

strengths: tabitha is capable of - and talented at - doing all the regular rough and tumble things that a runaway learns how to do out of necessity: climbing fences and trees, starting fires out of little more than sticks and her time bombs, fist-fighting (including kicking and biting if necessary), and shoplifting. she's also fairly quick, agile, and a quick on-her-feet thinker. she has virtually no trouble talking to people, although she does have a tendency to say things that are more likely to get her into trouble than anything, especially if she's talking to authority figures. or at least authority figures that she doesn’t respect, which is most of them. able to make friends quickly, tabitha's also a great dancer and is pretty impressive with a glow stick or two. she's fine with dealing with things that more 'girly' girls would start shrieking about: killing spiders, dealing with the sight of blood, etc. tabitha keeps a cool head in a sticky situation, surprisingly, since everything else about her personality, on the outside, appears explosive and a bit off the wall.

weaknesses/flaws: tabitha has, and always has had, trouble dealing with authority figures. she hates being told what to do and, when she is, usually makes an effort to do exactly what she was told not to. when tabitha overreacts, she really overreacts, making her a stubborn, yelling, foot-stomping terror to be around. tabitha has a penchant for the wild and crazy, even if it's extremely dangerous; the more outlandish something appears to her, the more fun she thinks it is. her disregard for getting hurt if she thinks of something that she just 'has to try doing' puts her at risk.

meltdown can create balls of energy of an unknown kind, which she calls her "time bombs" that, once detonated, explode with concussive force.

CREATION OF TIME BOMBS: she can create time bombs of varying size and explosive strength. capable of producing marble-sized "bombs," meltdown uses these for playing pranks. she is also able to produce "time bombs" ranging up to the size of beach balls, which, when they explode, can smash tree trunks and even metal objects.

CONTROL OVER THE EXPLOSION’S TIMING AND SOUND: meltdown can control the amount of time between the creation of one of her "bombs" and the time it detonates. she can also mentally muffle the sound of the detonation to a limited extent.

LATENT POWERS:

CONCUSSIVE FORCE BEAMS: meltdown can focus her power as beams of concussive force. bring. it. cyke.

KNIFE BOMBS: her bombs can be turned into blades that she can stab people with and then detonate. it’s messy. this isn’t even canon, but I thought of it and it's happening.

IMMUNITY TO HER OWN EXPLOSIVE ENERGY: meltdown’s body is immune to her blasts/time bombs.
